Q: When and how will I get paid (Cashout)?

A: Your earnings will be sent by your method of choice provided that some conditions are met as shown on the table below. All funds are in US Dollars. Payments are made 2 times a week, on Monday and Friday afternoon EST (Eastern Standard Time). Payouts will be done before 5PM EST.

To request a payment click on the link "Request Cashout" that will be made available on your account summary page next to your balance. This link will be available only once you have reached the minimum cashout.

PayPal, Payza (former AlertPay) and Liberty Reserve cashouts are sent two times a week. Monday and Friday afternoon before 5pm Eastern Standard Time

Checks are mailed only once a month on or before the 10th of the month to the postal address on your profile, so please make sure you request your cashout at the beginning of the month and that the information on your profile is accurate.

Checks are valid for a period of 60 days from the date of issuance. It is the responsibility of the recipient to cash or deposit checks in a timely manner consistent with the 60 time frame. Any check not cashed within the validity time frame is subject to cancellation. Checks sent to any member in in USA or Canada have a $10.00 minimum cashout. Checks sent outside the USA and Canada have a minimum $100.00 cashout.


Minimum balance to cashout is $6 for Premium members and $8 for Standard members — PayPal and Payza only, for other options please see table below.



Q: How do I earn money with ClixSense?

A: There are several ways for you to earn money with ClixSense. First is by viewing advertisements that are in our system. You earn commissions for every ad you see. The amount per ad ranges from $0.001 and up to $0.02.

Other ways you can earn from ClixSense is through promoting others to our site with our affiliate program. You earn downline click commissions, upgrade commissions and a commission from your referrals's purchases. The amount you make all depends on your account status (Premium or Regular).

Premium members earn higher downline click commissions from their direct referrals, are entered into an 8 level affiliate program for premium upgrades and earn signup commissions.

You can also earn additional commissions by completing tasks, offers, participating in surveys and winning in ClixGrid.



Q: What are the tasks, how do they work?

A: A task or job is simply a set of instructions that you follow, and get paid for it. For example, there may be a task to categorize images or videos, make google searches, etc...

Most tasks can be completed multiple/unlimited times by you. But, in some cases when we limit the work or pause the job, a message will display on the screen to explain this.

Certain tasks will require you to train for the task before it's completed. Meaning you will be evaluated to see how well you perform in doing the task before you are able to complete it.

Pay attention to any instructions in the tasks or hints attached to questions you answer incorrectly -- these are critical to your success in completing the tasks.

Your accuracy and credits are displayed in the top pane of the task. Please familiarize yourself with our tasks page before you attempt any.

Many of you will frequently fall below the minimum accuracy threshold for a particular task, at which point you are no longer permitted to continue working on that particular task. Do not get discouraged as this is to be expected and does not reflect a bug. You are then most welcome to participate in any of the other available tasks.

If you have specific questions about the tasks, you should use the Help -> Get Support link in the top right corner of the task. This link takes you to the CrowdFlower's community forum. The first time you visit the forum, you'll need to sign up for a CrowdFlower account. On all future visits, you will need to log into the forum in order to read/post content. You should include your Contributor ID and Job ID (accessible from the Help menu) when communicating with CrowdFlower so that they can look up you history easily.

There is also a FAQ available from the Help menu to help you in case you have any questions.

The amount you can make is up to you. Each task can pay you between a few cents to several dollars per completion. The higher paying tasks of course require more work on your part.

Once you have completed a task you are INSTANTLY paid for that task and the funds are added to your ClixSense account balance. We show you a complete history of your tasks and earnings.

Most members should find tasks in your account and some tasks may be demographically targeted.

Do not attempt to go into a task and just click through it to try and complete it. There are filters that will not only detect this but it can get your Tasks account suspended permanently. Once a task account is suspended we cannot re-enable it as this is out of our control. Tasks are to be taken seriously and anyone found abusing it may also lose their ClixSense account.


We pay a 5% commission to standard sponsors and a 10% commission to premium sponsors on all tasks completed by their referrals.



Q: What are the differences between all of the ad exposure types?

A: We offer four different types of exposure for the PTC Ads. They are Micro, Mini, Standard and Extended. Each has a different exposure time that varies from 3 to 60 seconds and with different options available. They also require a different amount of Ad Credits per click.

Members will be more tempted to click on ads with longer exposure like the Standard or Extended and because of the longer exposure higher convertion rates are to be expected.

If you're just looking to increase your website's traffic, Micro is the best choice at very low cost, however this type has limited targeting options and statistics available.



Q: What is the Daily Checklist Bonus?

A: The Daily Checklist not only helps you keep track of your daily ClixSense activity it also rewards you for being an active ClixSense member.

For each day that you complete your Daily Checklist a bonus will be added to your account balance at the end of that day. Premium members will earn a 12% bonus of their personal earnings, while Standard members will earn a 5% bonus. The bonus amount you can earn is unlimited; it only depends on your activity.

This bonus will be calculated from your total personal earnings that include your PTC Ads clicks, ClixGrid prizes, completed CrowdFlower Tasks and completed Offers. Other bonuses and referral commissions are not included.

In order to complete the Daily Checklist you need to:

Click at least 2 PTC Adverts of any kind;
Click at least 15 ClixGrid squares. The more you click the more chances you have to win ClixGrid prizes which will then be counted towards the bonus as well (for example as a Premium member, if you earn the $5.00 prize you will earn an extra $0.60 with the Daily Checklist bonus at the end of the day);
Because not everyone has offers or tasks available to do, and to give everyone a chance, you are required to complete only one of the following:
Complete at least 10 CrowdFlower Tasks; *
Complete at least 2 offers from the offers page; *
Complete at least 5 CrowdFlower Tasks and at least 1 offer from the offers page; *
Visit at least one page of our forum. Posting is not required.
* Regarding the Tasks and Offers, if for some reason you do not get credit for completing them on a given day, or if payment is delayed into a following day, the checklist of that day will not take them into consideration; payments are not retroactive, they will instead count only towards the day when they are actually received.

There will be slow days, with not enough Tasks or Offers. You may or may not be able to complete your checklist in such days. We cannot be held responsible for this.

These conditions may change at any time and an announcement will be made in that event.



Q: What is a premium account?

A: PREMIUM account status indicates to advertisers that the viewer has successfully made a purchase using a credit card or bank account online. Many advertisers prefer to limit their paid advertisements to viewers who have proven purchasing power.

The cost of ugrading to PREMIUM status is $17 USD and is valid for 1 year from the date of upgrade. We also offer a 2 year Premium upgrade for $30. There are many benefits that go along with being a PREMIUM member, like signup commissions, higher downline click commissions, more chances to win in ClixGrid, more ads available, an 8-Tier affiliate program that pays you for each referral that also upgrades to PREMIUM and much more.



Q: Why arent there more ads available to me?

A: The amount of ads, how often they appear and value of advertisements targeted to your specific profile is entirely dependent on the advertisers and will vary from day to day, even hour to hour.

Logging into your ClixSense account more frequently should avail more ads to you as you will find ads from smaller advertisers before they are consumed by other members.

ClixSense averages over 800 people logged in at most times. If an ad comes in that has 500 clicks available on it, the first 500 people who click this ad will see it. The other 300 will have to wait for other ads to come in.

Alternately if you elect to get our toolbar you can get instant ad notifications, a running balance and more.


Q: What websites are not allowed to advertise?

A: Any website submitted to ClixSense will first go through approval before being activated. Websites containing malicious script or code, excessive pop-ups, or viruses are prohibited. In summary, and without being exhaustive, no sites promoting the following shall be submitted:

Adult Content or Sexually Themed Material
Drugs and Drug Paraphernalia
Tobacco Sales
Discriminatory Practices
Hate / Violence Sites
Weapons Sales
Pharmaceutical Sales
Illegal Downloads/Warez
Gambling
HYIP Programs
No site (url) that is approved shall materially be changed after approval such that the content of the site after the original approval is thereafter in violation of the above. We reserve the right to reject advertisements at our sole discretion.



Q: What method of payments do you accept for upgrades and ad purchases?

A: At this time all purchases are processed through Payza, PayPal and Liberty Reserve.

If these options are not available to you, you may mail a bank or postal money order in the amount of $17 USD to the address below. Please be sure to include your ClixSense account information.

Q: My account is closed, can I reopen it?

A: You sure can. Just attempt to login your account and you will have the option to reopen it, or you may submit a support request - be sure to include your username or email address associated with your account.
